Applications For Impact Accelerator, Spark Bangladesh, Is Open Now

Spark Bangladesh, local wing of Spark International, is calling for applications for its March 2016 Accelerator Program in Dhaka. Spark, an accelerator program that finds and supports local startups in Africa, Australia and Asia launched their Bangladesh chapter recently.

“We are looking for local startups that are working hard to improve the lives of people living in poverty and aim to help them to build a sustainable business through accelerator program, training and support,” said Shazeeb Islam, CEO of Spark Bangladesh, in a statement.

After finding local startups, the program takes them through a one week accelerator program. During the accelerator program the founders go through a proven training course with support from both the International and local Spark teams and learn pitching, marketing, money management, impact measurement, team building, and learn how to innovate new ideas, network and strategise.

The program also provides expert advice, a small funding up to USD $5000.00 and support with design and technology.

How To Apply

Application for March, 2016 cohort is open now and deadline is February 15. The program will take place in Dhaka from 27th March – 1st April 2016. You may apply for the program following this link.
