The Editorial Assistant will work closely with our content team to find, investigate, and report long form stories on startups and entrepreneurs. You will be responsible to establish communication and maintain connection with startups and entrepreneurs to put together inspiring stories and help us distributing our content across social media platforms.

Position Title: Editorial Assistant
Location: Dhanmondi 4/a, Dhaka
Job nature: Part time [4/5 hours, 5 days week]
Flexible office hours, you can choose your office hours based on your convenience but this is  not a remote working position.

Job Responsibilities
Content Development: Meet, interview and write article/stories on startups and entrepreneurs.

Coordination: Schedule, work and coordinate meetings and projects with our publishing partners and stakeholders

Research Trends : Research trends, curate industry news, interview experts and leaders, and synthesize insights to develop reports and articles

Build Audience and Measure Impact: Establish a strategy and process to define and build our audience, a system to measure the impact of our content, and a process to regularly report on those metrics. Help distribute FS content on different social media platforms.

Support the FS Content Team as needed.

We are looking for
Education: Undergraduate or graduate students with passion for writing and storytelling.

Skills: Must have excellent writing and storytelling skills and attention to details, able to work under pressure and capable of maintaining short deadlines.

Personal Characteristics: Lives and breathes writing and storytelling. Passionate about digital media, entrepreneurship, and business journalism. Hungry to always be learning. Have a sense of commitment and can deal with tight deadline.
